Senior Project Manager
Elexco looks to fill a Senior Project Manager position in our wind tower division. This person will be a key employee and leader in the continued development of our wind tower division.
Responsibilities of the position will include:
- Determine scope of potential projects
- Prepare estimate and proposal
- Play an active role in securing the work and maintaining customer relations
- Manage field operations and contract administration, including safety,
- employee management, vendor relations, subcontract management, and
material coordination
- Responsible for maintaining project schedule, including communication with
- superintendent/foremen on project
- Responsible for on-site communication with General Contractor personnel
- Responsible for communication with corporate headquarters
- Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly reporting to corporate and General
- Contractor
- Manage project as affected by weather conditions, personnel changes, and
- change orders
- Responsible for accurate costing to project and preparation of necessary
- billing documents and reconciliation
This key individual must possess strong communication and organizational skills that will allow them to provide leadership for basic to complex construction scenarios, including the scheduling and management of employees, vendors and subcontractors.
Other key requirements for this position include:
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience in related construction fields –
- specific experience in wind tower construction is a plus
- High level of understanding of civil/electrical construction
- Ability to troubleshoot construction applications as needed
- General understanding of project management methods and experience in
- active management of prior projects
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
- General competencies in computer applications including Outlook, Microsoft
- Office, scheduling and estimating software
This role will include field assignments throughout the United States. The length of projects can vary between 3 and 12 months.
Compensation will include base salary, travel and project related bonus plan, daily per diem, company provided vehicle/cell phone/computer. Additional benefits include: health, dental, short term and long term disability insurance, retirement savings plan, employee referral/assistance plan.
Skilled Operator
Elexco seeks a skilled operator with machine operation experience including excavator, dozer & skid steer. Class “A” CDL, travel and overtime required. Excellent benefit package and competitive wage offered. Great advancement opportunities.
