The Business Development and Customer Experience Manager is responsible for creating a high quality customer experience and high customer satisfaction, business development; researching industry trends to recommend and implement business development strategies; and collaborating with the leadership team to implement strategies and achieve revenue goals. - Develop and perpetuate a comprehensive understanding of Elexco’s existing business products and services, including the organization’s current scope of work, key customer relationships, and the markets served
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research
- Collaborate with Project Managers to identify, analyze and report business and industry trends
- Identify opportunities to engage in new partnerships, markets, or lines of business
- Create and maintain a CRM tool to drive the tracking of business development opportunities and maintain current key contacts
- Drive the overall customer experience: collaborate with Project Managers to analyze existing customer relationships; develop strategies, plans, and processes to drive high quality customer experiences; and ensure successful project outcomes and customer retention
- Proactively identify and solve customer challenges, identify solutions, and engages internal and external resources to resolve customer concerns
- Identify, analyze, recommend, and implement an annual plan for business development through trade shows, conferences, industry association membership, sponsorship, events, etc..
- Create and manage the budget for annual business development activities
- Collaborate with marketing to create tools and resources to promote Elexco’s brand, mission, and services
- Collaborate with the pre-construction/estimating to analyze RFPs and prepare bid presentations to align with strategic initiatives
- Develop a cadence with business partners to discuss business development opportunities, challenges, and plans
